Sorry, kids. Mommy had to work late. I know you don't like it. I don't like it either. I barely had anytime with your, TingTing. And those minutes all were spent with your homework. I did not see Vinnie at all since he was already sleep.
Ting Ting, you see, nothing is perfect in this world. It might be too negative to talk to you with this topic. But I feel like it is better let us talk about everything, even sometimes it is not the topic we would like. As a human being, citizen of society, each one of us bear certain responsibilities. Those responsibilities keep our society in order. And also it is those responsibilities give each of us the rights we all need. You know mommy loves you. But just love can not produce any money to pay for the house where we can sleep comfortably at night and have a nice and safe place to keep us from outside harsh environment. Just love can not produce any money to buy food for you and your brother, let alone other stuff, such as your favoriate figure skating. Mommy just have to work in order for us to have place to live and food to eat. Also it will provide you chance to skate. Mommy will try best to spend as much time as possible to be with you and Vinnie. Good news, mommy's boss is out of town for meeting today. So mommy can be home in time with you and Vinnie. Better yet, tommorrow, mommy can leave at 3:00pm, so I can be home early with Vinnie. But you are in skating program. Of course, mommy will pick you up. It's just mommy would not be able to see you until 7:00pm.
