How Cruel

I had a few friends come over my house for dinner. Yan told me one of her friends, whom I met a few times were in the process of filing divorce. His wife is moving out and living with her boyfriend. She is the one who wanted out and who has an affair. She wanted 1/2 of everything. But things are not so simple. The husband had been married before. His ex-wife died of cancer when their baby girl was only 3 months old. His ex-wife had life insurance, which was a good thing. It supposed to prevent this little girl's normal life from getting interrupted in this extremely sad situation. However, the husband re married this current wife without any prenuptial agreement. Now the lady even wanted that part of money. How sad!

I don't care about the adults. They can survive. But for that little girl, she had to experience losing mommy two times. Why in the world this lady wanted little girl part of money? That money was from her mother's life. One thing made me upset is this lady is not lacking of money. She is very successful in her career. Her new boyfriend seems to have a nice job, too. How cruel a human being can turn into. My heart aches for that little girl.

Learn a lesson from this sad story. I will have my will really taken care of. I will ask my lawyer to put the terms that my assets, including life insurance should go to my kids. My spouse can be trust. If he gets remarried, he will be released from trust role. The appointed bank will resume this role. Gosh, how dirty this world can be.
